Vero Beach, Florida

Grace is the oldest Lutheran Church in Vero Beach, being founded in 1917.  We are a congregation "built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the chief cornerstone" (Ephesians 2:20).  We accept the Bible as the truth from God and believe it is clear in its teachings.   We believe that Christians should submit to the Word of God in all things.  This is the only way we can know God and His will, and receive comfort and assurance from Him.  It is the Word that reveals we are all sinners and the only way we can be saved is through the perfect life and atoning death of God's Son,  Jesus Christ.  Those who trust in Him alone for salvation receive the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.  Consequently we gather around word and sacrament in order that the Holy Spirit may strengthen us to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 Grace is a community of believers who seek to bear fruits of faith by showing love to one another and to our neighbors in the community.  We accomplish this goal by offering group and fellowship activities in the church.  Visitors are always welcome.  Our main work of love for the community is the operation of Gracie's Preschool, through which we assist parents in bringing up their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and help train them for kindergarten.   We also support the Homeless Shelter through food drives, and support CareNet Pregnancy Counseling Center.

Grace is involved in the worldwide mission of spreading the Gospel through its membership in the Evangelical Lutheran Synod, based in Mankato, MN.  We are in fellowship with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).

Visitors are always welcome to join us to praise the Lord and hear the message of forgiveness and salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.
